In Case of an Air Quality Burn Ban
You cannot use your agricultural burning permit under any stage of an air quality burn ban.
Condition 3 of the burning permit conditions states: “No burning or adding fuel during any stage of an air pollution episode, local air quality burning ban, ‘no-burn day’ or ‘no-burn time period’.”
Please note that air quality burn bans are separate and distinct from fire safety burn bans called by the local fire officials during hot, dry weather. As always, check in with your local fire safety official prior to burning.
